Re: Granddaughter shot by A$$hole neighbor!!

I whole-heartedly agree with you Subi-crosser.

I deplore gun control, but I know that those who forward it love to use idiots like the neighbor here, to justify taking everyone's guns away.

But like a lot of you... they'll take mine only after facing the business end first. I don't have much, and even less ammo than I would like after the current shortage.

A .40 cal 'baby' Desert Eagle is still a full sized defense pistol. And a .22WMR semi-auto rifle may not be a .223, but it still doesn't sound like fun to be on the receiving end at close range. Even a .22LR plinker pistol can buy some time, or get a good point blank shot in.

A 12-gauge tactical shotgun, and/or a Beretta CX4 storm carbine with high-cap mags seems like decent future purchases for home defense. If I can ever find some more ammo...

Anger is hot but retribution should be cold. Icy cold.

Don't take things into your own hands and break the law, this gob****e is not worth it. Explain to the police the threats, explain that he has discharged firearms before, explain that he will kill or injure somebody if he is allowed keep his guns. Make a formal complaint and accusation. Get the law to take his guns away.

That's the way to soften his cough.

Revenge is a 'dish' best served 'COLD'!!

We have ways to make him 'sorry'...

Step one, call cops, step 2, deliver larger caliber firepower to daughter for self 'defense. Shayna is OK. She is a sweet girl! Thank GOD that that the moron only seriously damaged HIS case!!

He shot first, this is his second time that a gun came out and was discharged.
FIRST time that anyone was hit.

With 4th of July coming up many "excuses" could be made on your part. This is what I do with sparklers I ususally get asked "Why are you buying so many sparklers?"

Re: Granddaughter shot by A$$hole neighbor!!

DemonSVX, I'll take the pistol in the top right (looks to be a CZ-82 or CZ-83? I've wanted one for a while...), and is it just me, or does your AK have two detents in the fire selector?

Re: Granddaughter shot by A$$hole neighbor!!

Yeah its a CZ82 9x18 with the original holster, 2 12rd mags and lanyard which I traded my 357 Taurus for. You can get a 20rd magazine for these and trying to get one at the next gun show. The receiver for the AK has weld marks there which makes it look like its selective fire, but wish it was the real thing

Re: Granddaughter shot by A$$hole neighbor!!

That's messed up. I'd be there with every gun I owned. I'm not an advocate of suing, but it beats killing (in some cases) and jail (in most cases). I wouldn't go after money, but rather having his guns revoked by the township. Safety is bigger than pride for me when it comes to my girls.

Re: Granddaughter shot by A$$hole neighbor!!

I'm certain that a guy who would fire his gun in the air in a residential neighborhood would surely never own guns illegally.

...or seek any sort of revenge if his legally owned ones were unavailable to him.

Don't pick fights you can't win, really.

I'd be happy with that setup, automatic fire just blows through ammo anyway. I really want a CZ-82 or CZ-83! I need a pistol!

and yeah, that moron needs to be forced to take a firearms safety course, where everyone knows he was careless with a firearm and injured someone. Or maybe go to a gun show where everyone knows that. In addition to some jail time or something, that's just plain stupid.

Subicrosser, I hope your grand daughter a speedy recovery.

Aside from all the 'my firearm > his firearm' jabber, what's the story?

Who is this guy? Why is he pissed? Is he locked up?

Never know... if it spends whole days barking or craps on his lawn on a regular basis, he might be a lil' agitated.
