E85 and 15lbs of boost. It is rediculous. No knock and more power you could ever dream of. Slow burning so less tensile pressure than gasoline and cool at RBT. No need to build a motor for thousands of dollars with this kind of performance and tourqe.

Phil, that's cool man.

Pun intended.

Phil, what all did you have to do to make the fuel system safe for or compatible for E85?

It should be worth my while converting for the supercharged one I have.

What size injectors are you on with the E85?

Just replaced all the soft rubber lines with new alt fuel compatible and we will see. No problems and not the first time or first person. No where near as corrosive as methanol.

You must be up there around 450=475+ BHP now I'd guess if you don't have any major restrictions in your system. I have a feeling with a good tune on E85 you aren't going to have any detonation issues. I'd suspect you'll have a long life at your current boost level.

Ya...nothing yet. For the most part you can make as much power as you have fuel. No detenation past LBT just less power.

Sorry for not answering your previous question. I have 2v7 flex fuel ECUTune software running 370CC redtop injectors, a walbro HP fuel pump, and a RRFPR running 6:1 for added flow.

Significant Technical Input

Yep, that's the way to do alcohol injection. He'll probably get more power too when I switch the current releases of stage 1 and 2 to the aggressive versions.

If your base fuel pressure is 45psi, I get the following:

Base (psi) 45
Boost (psi) 15
FPR rate 6
Injector Rate (45psi) 370

Pump Head Under Boost (psi) 135
Injector Pressure Delta Under Boost (psi) 120
Injector Flow Under Boost (cc) 604.2074699

With a BSFC of 0.75 and HP of 450, it looks like you are on the bleeding edge of what your current injectors will support. What AFR and Duty Cycle are you seeing with your current setup?

Re: Back on the beat - Phast's turbo SVX gets some love

I got to spar with a Viper today. He took off while i was behind him at a stop light and I stuck with him in first gear more or less.

Why is it that they will never do anything when you get next to them? I have no doubt a late model viper is much quicker, especially at anything other than a standstill, but its as though they do not want to find out! I would like to see how I line up at speed. He did give me a thumbs up, so i suppose I should take what I can get.

Car is still running great. stage 2 aggressive is really the icing on the cake when it comes to performance and stock drive-ability.

We can't have street racing posts on here Phil, so I expect you were in a car park or somewhere, right?

And a more interesting test might be if you tried it on in heavy rain, I'd expect he might be too busy twirling the steering wheel to give you thumbs up as you pass.
