Mine has been on red and I have had to push the shift lock button ever since the day our new neighbors moved in. With our SVX's we get it all!!! I love it! Hope this helps. Keith Last edited by kwren; 02-10-2009 at 01:19 PM. |

Re: How do I install a new shift module?
There are 2 long trim panels that go along the bottom of the cigarette lighter and ashtray. pry these off and you will see 1 gold screw on each side you need to remove. Next take the shifter bezel off by removing the ashtry so you can lift up on the bezel, also unhook the door lock switch if you have one. Remove the screws at the bottom of the console when you open up the lid at the top. Remove the E-brake handle. then slide the whole console back towards the rear seat a little and then pull up and its off. the shift module shoudld be behind the Ebrake if I remember right.
