code 11? crank angle sensor

i just checked my codes today, i check them every once in awhile because my cel is always on because my speedo doesnt work, i check it every month or so to make sure nothing new pops up. well today i checked them and i get code 11. how can i fix this? do i have to buy a new sensor or can it be cleaned etc? and how can i check this part? thanks for any help.

There are quite a few posts on this topic. Basically if you want to do a quick sanity check remove the connector and measure the resistance of the sensor (around 2.5 Kohm) and the resistance you can see at the two pins of the connector (around 80Kohm if I have a good memory).
For a more advanced test you need an oscilloscope. I can provide all the details, just send me a PM.
