SVX Rear View Mirror

Compared to every car i've ever owned and currently own, the SVX's rear view mirror, at least mine, is i guess you would say flacid. It's always been this way in the 3 and half years i've owned the car. Is it about to go totally limp or is this just the character of the car. How firm is every one else's rear view mirror. It stays where you set it and it's not like the freakin' sun visors slowly drooping with every change of the day. Just wondering if i should be thinking of getting a spare mirror.........In comparison my 94 Camry which i've owned since 96 is almost hard to adjust it's so firm.......

No problems with mine changing direction, except when my wife drives the car.

Re: SVX Rear View Mirror

Check the three (3) bolts that hold the mirror to the roof first. The mirror in my ebony was very sloppy (it felt like the joint in the mirror was loose) but it turned out to just be those mounting bolts.

It's fine now and I think is actually tougher to adjust then my others mirrors.

I can't picture these bolts since i didn't see any thing visible. My mirror feels just like that, like the joint is loose but the rest of the mirror seems solid......
