In MY PARTICULAR case, I am lucky enough to have this stuff laying around. lol I realize however, that most people are not, and that yes, my "guesstimate" of $3k on parts is a bit low for MOST people and quality parts. Really, the largest monetary expenses for me would be the turbo, the 2v7 and associated parts, and maybe an intercooler. I do have more than a couple of those in the garage that would work just fine though.

exactly... example: I have a very good COnquest TSI turbo, Down pipe and IC
laying around. would be easy to fab up the piping for a turbo kit.. the hard stuff is the tuning.... (which you better get right or BYE BYE pretty sportscar) |
