200* is still in operating temp range. Not bad but not the best. There is nothing to complain about there

i've seen it briefly shoot up to 235+ .... that was a VERY hot, humid day going up a long, steep hill.


i was happy when it was around 180ish.

i was happy when it was around 180ish.

As you should have been... When it gets up to 235 any day I would be concerned though... was it a fender mounted cooler of a flexalite??

BTW this thread title reminds me of this

it was a TCI cooler mounted between the condenser and the rad. i removed the belly pan in the summer, too, and that seemed to keep things 10-20 degrees cooler.

yeah I agree with most of that. 200* is still ok, the rest is down hill from there
