Logo at Top of Page

Let me let everyone know first, that I love the logo at the top of the page. However, it has been brought to my attention that it is easily viewable from "afar off." In other words, bosses peeking over shoulders, etc.

I have not gotten busted . . . . yet, but, it's probably just a matter of time. I know there are others who do not join us as often as they'd like, for this very reason.

Perhaps a reduction in the size of the logo may be in order? I'd like to toss this out for discussion. Any other thoughts -- suggestions?

Sure - get a job where they won't can you for a little personal web browsing. <G>

No, really, I don't have a problem with shrinking the logo a bit...

Aredub, the very FIRST thing I did when I got my new office was move my computer/desk so that I FACED people who would walk by or come in.
So how small would it have to be, for "safety's sake"?

I was thinking more along the lines of an optional style set that one could choose in the user control panel that had no logo at all.

I avoided this site for the last six weeks becasue of that logo. I'm trying to catch up now while the manager here is on vacation this week.

Talking Such workers!!

Nice to know that I have "brothers" out there, working diligently at their computers! BTW, a concerned look of "concentration" always helps to keep up appearances.

I am also proud to announce the posting (with this post) of my 300th message - and every one of them SPAM free!

Let's see - only 398 behind Aredub!

Image size and options

Ok. I wil look into different sizes and post them here to be voted on. Style sets are in the works but not cose to being done at this point. My suggestion would be to turn images off in your browser options while cruising the site when your "NOT" supposed to be.

Just a thought
Chris

Talking I guess the theme song is out

You want the logo shrunk so the boss doesn't know you're cruising this site?

Well then I definitely better stop working on the "SVX Network theme song" MIDI file that would be set up to automatically blare when you first visit the site.

Boss just as guilty

My boss, who sits 5 feet from me over a 5' cube wall, always seems to have some sort of NFL logo on his web browser, so I don't worry so much.

As long as the work gets done, he could care less.

I would prefer less logo, options and other clutter at the top of the page so the when you choose a thread from the menu , you can immediately read more of the thread and the replies without having to scroll down first. IMHO Bill
