that tan interior looks really good too. Wish I had tan instead of grey. Oh well, grey is second best.

I kinda like the look of front splitters with the waterfall grill. between that and the hood, it makes the center of the car look alot lower than the outsides....kind of a sideways hourglass. The splitters, though, stick out too much on the sides at the bottom, and create a body line that doesnt match anything (Unless you get custom sideskirts) A black car makes the look a bit more subtle

I don't like the splitters because:

They don't line up with the rest of the body, they look like a stick on afterthough, and the rear edge of them often doesn't line up with the wheel well line, like this:

I don't mind the painted waterfall grille. If I had an extra grille kicking around I would consider doing that to see how it would look on the teal SVX... I don't think I would paint one without having another unpainted one as a backup though....
I too am going out tomorrow to get the headlight cleaner from Walmart. I hope the Cdn stores sell the stuff, but I see that it is available online as well...

I like the splitters with the 97 grille...

To me it extends the lines of the car and look like it came factory... kinda like a Corolla S

The only bad thing is I dont even attempt to go up my driveway or entryways

I like how the splitters add a little aggressiveness to the bumper. I want them but I don't know if I will ever buy them for your exact reasons. I think the idea behind the style is great (and you get a better idea of it on the darker colors) but once applied it really looks like an incomplete design which was force fitted.
I have often wondered if they can be sanded and smoothed to better follow the SVX curves.. It makes the OC part of me want to just reach into people's pictures and add some filler to smooth the lines..
The best solution would be to fabricate a bumper with the splitters already incorporated. In my imagination, those look pretty nice.

One thing I was looking at was this front lip/front spoiler that I thought looks good. It's a little expansive though. And it would definately go well with the prototype skirts steve was making.(Idk if he still is??)

Anyone try the Plastex made by Meguires to clean headlights. I went to Walmart today to get the other stuff but they don't sell it here in Canada, so I bought the Meguires at Cdn Tire.

I know what you are talking about, with the lines on the splitters looking like a tack on afterthought. When I look at the pictures at least, it looks like an improvement to me. I will see what it looks like in person.

We are much more likely to notice it too, because we are so used to the stock look of the svx. To the untrained eye I definately do not think it would immediately stick out.

Any type of polish is not gonna last more than 2 months if your lucky, Marisa (cozykat) has had the cleaning stuff that I used on her car for 5+ months now and it still looks clean and clear. Polishing your lenses is great and all but its just not as nice and clean looking.

http://www.crystalviewchemicals.com/myheadlight/

Theres the website for the stuff, and you can even order it from them.

Well then you can really mix things up. Like lets say a pearly with a black hood, a black painted waterfall grill and Steves bumper?

This was my current favorite look. Bias ofcourse.
