EJ22T pistons work and you should reference the other thread (turbo forum) for the aftermarket parts (rods/pistons)

As far as rebuild goes, what have you found out as far as are there any aftermarket bearings or gasket sets for the eg33?

Phill, tell us a bit about yourself. It's great that you're offering your assistance with the EG33. We have a few experts here and it would be interesting to get a few technical discussions going on here.

I have completly rebuilt 3 eg33s for there cars with there money thust knowing i know how to take a flatt engin apart.

Also i gave the exaust manifolds to another friend since he can weld and he will be making me headers for the car and will be making a complete engin rebuild guide for this site with photos on how to so theres a lil about em and how i got into the SVX now its parked again for the winter and i am driving a 2004 jeep rubicon

subaru parts

The best parts you can get for the eg33 internaly are actual subaru parts from the factory like bearings and pistons thats what subaru uses on its WRC cars and i buy all my parts here they even have exploded views its pricy but there all worth iit all directly from subaru

http://www.subaruparts.com/diag/?model=2

Thanks for the piston tip and are they better than the eg33 pistons will the ej22 pistons giver better power?

Thanks
Phill

Suggest changing your handle so others - like me - don't confuse you with DemonSVX (without the ~~s). Sorry!

Sorry, definite case of mistaken identity

Question - have you actually put your engine and/or car on a dyno to back up your additional hp statements?

FYI - s...a...r...c....a....s....m

"exploded views", not "explosion views"

while, not wile

machinist, not machinest

I still don't know how u managed to bend the cam??? They are very brittle and hollow... I dropped one on a concrete floor and broke it... Anyway... it is good to have another builder around... Check the mod mania forum...Chike, myself and a couple others have begun to use custom cams in the cars... they are producing impressive gains but I would like to go a little more radical for the next set...

check the thread... he has listed all of the specs... I am more of a wrenches kind of guy so the guy oab (harvey) is a wealth of knowledge in many fields helped us devise the specs for them... I am still trying to figure out how far I want to go with my next set... Just let me know if you are interested come spring time I should have them available made to order...
