If you look at the pics, they've definitely toned it down a lot in the production version.

If that's the case, would it be possible for you to post a reference picture or provide a link to a picture of the production Si interior?

Even though I like how the Honda Civic Si looks, and the fact that it does have the same exact engine as its EDM/JDM counterpart, which makes me rather tempted by it.

I still wanted Honda to just bring over the Type R. In hatch form it probably weighs just as much as the coupe yet is more practical. I also like the taillights better. I even feel that the new Civic sedan has sportier taillights, the ones on the Si make it look like an Accord.

And there is no excuse about it being not as synanamous with Honda or even import tuning for that matter since the Type R nameplate is just as well known, if not more, by American tuners.

I am starting to get fed up with Honda's two world policy applied to the US, with current US, European and Japanese crash and emissions standards there is no reason for it.

Aside from those critisms, the new Civic Si is a great car for its price range, which I hope is in the low 20s because there is no exuse on Honda's part to pull an 05 Mustang and start racateering the prices.

Id love an STI if I wasnt a young male IE going to get killed on its insurance.
A friend of mine had an evo 8 when he was 18, i told him to get the STI he didnt and he lost to one, just proved my point lol.
With only 1.8 liters honda has to have the comp ratio at least arounnd 12 to 1, and have the the redline pretty far up there. So i dought you would be able to run any boost at all on 91 octane. Also how much torq does it produce? Iam not ragging on honda at all, getting 1.8 liters to produce 200hp is amaizing on 91 octane, i just dought theres going to much room for improvment in any way with out spending ass loads of money on it.
Honda has ssem to of done a great job new civic i just dont like FWD, ecpecialey ones with lower than normal torq output.
