STi spec C TYPE RA

Seems like a lot of you guys don't like the front, I don't mind it. I just wish they did something with the back insted of keeping the same lights (and adding some rice ).

Either that or have the factory clutch replaced. Which is the weakest part of an EVO's drive train.

Yeah, they are from Lancaster County Crapru. Worst dealer in the country.

$500 for an o-ring in the ac????, Used a hammer to get in Green95SVXs rear bearing and left enough evidence to know it was a hammer, List price is 10-25% above Subaru list price for parts.

Post Priced the '06 WRX I'd like to own...

...on Edmunds.com tonight and got the TMV (true market value) price for the location where I'll most likely be buying one (Richmond, VA zip 23113). The numbers Edmunds gave me were:

2006 Subaru Impreza WRX 4dr Sedan AWD (2.5L 4cyl Turbo 5M)
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>MSRP; Invoice; What Others Are Paying
National Base Price $24,995 $23,206 $24,063
Regional Adj. for Zip Code > > -$67
Optional Equipment $1,164 $798 $960
-I5U Performance Group 1A $765 $498 $616
-S6G Steel Gray Metallic Rear Spoiler - Sedan $399 $300 $344
Color Adjustment > > $0
Steel Gray Metallic
Destination Charge $625 $625 $625
Total with Options $26,784 $24,629 $25,581

*Note: I5U performance group 1A includes: STi short throw shifter, turbo boost gauge and Momo shift knob.

I'll definitely be using this TMV figure in my negotians with dealers. If I can get a steel gray '06 WRX for $25.5K + tax, tag & title - I'll be a proud '06 WRX owner this Fall!

Good deal Chike. We save another one from the Evo mistake. Yes I'm biased, but I just don't like the new Evos. The V was the best of them. As for the nose, it is ALOT better on the Impreza then the B9, but it still leaves alot to be desired.

In this picture, what is the flat panel like deal on the roof? Is that the car antenna? And wehre is the sunroof? Did the Imprezza ever come with one?

That's one thing that gets me. I love the Mustang, especially the new ones, but you could never get a sunroof on the new ones!

I hear you - I definitely won't be getting an Evo as I really like the extra torque from the 2.5L...

- The flat panel on the roof is an air vent that STi spec C TYPE RA's (stands for race altered) come with; it's a WRC thing - see the attached pic for a view of the roof vent open.

- Imprezas (even the WRX) came with a sunroof starting last year as part of a luxury package. You got leather and a sunroof, but had to settle for an automatic tranny.

The upper spoiler was wind tunnel tested to direct more air flowing over the car onto the rear wing - the end result is more downforce as speeds rise!
