New Mustang Commercial

Wow....amazing great commercial
Does the tune of the Star Spangles Banner
thru the exhaust sounds of of course Mustangs
while showing the dozens of pictures of various
Mustangs from 64 to date.....
If that doesnt make you want one....even more...
your dead like Elvis

I hate the new Mustang commercials. Only because they glue me to the TV set and leave me wishing I could buy one NOW, instead of when I finish school.

I like the new mustang ....I saw one the other day and hit the brake so hard ............broke my neck lookin at it

No - but I must say I like the Chevy Cobalt -> Corvette commercials the best - I think they're funny. Have you seen the pricetag for the cobalt though? They're smokin crack.

I like the Mustang commercial with the superimposed moving images of Steve McQueen from the movie Bullit! Nothing sounds better to the ears than the new 3 valve 4.6L at full song!

I'm waiting for the retro F-150 since ford can't do anything original. The new pinto will be a smash!!!!! The GT is a redo, the Mustang is a redo, T-Bird a redo, the new Five Hundred is a redo of Mays' A4 but with a gerbil motor in it. Can't we do anything orginal? The whole SUV line has the exact same nose and grill. ford blasted GM for a "Corprate Identity" in the 80's and now they are doing it.

They obviously do what "the people want"...
when you are maybe 40-50 yrs old youll see what
I mean. and btw the F150 cant get anymore original..
Obviously people dont want retro trucks.. ..Gm learned
that with their SRR thing that flopped. And oh yeah, new
and different "camaro".....gone, because of slow sales.
Im sure corporate at Fords knows what they are doing
and cant even smack about the new GT40.....ferrari and every
other car on the road killer

I brought up Toyota. Just to affirm that Ford corporate doesn't know what they are doing. Sales are way down and the brand has no innovation. Look at the Ford full size van market for instance, not a new model in years.

Trucks are about the only thing Ford has going for them. The mustang looked great as a concept, but not when it was tweaked for production. They now make an AWD sedan, I'm sure that'll do great

Back to the topic. The new Mustang ads are great.

It's GT, not GT40, they let the copyright expire, then couldn't get it back. I'm not the only one saying ford is out of ideas, read a major auto magazine. As for the GT, I'd take a Vette Z06 that costs less, or if money was no object, the Porsche Carrera GT. Don't like Ferrari's much.

... first PA_SVX... drive a ferrari, then tell me as you're flooring it in 3rd gear at a 120 mph that you don't like it.. i dare you

second, that mustang commercial was pretty sweet. however with the WHOLE song it got a little long. still a great commercial, well marketed too

and third. mustang concept looked GREAT... mustang production... ehh. I couldn't even tell you exactly why.. but its just not all there like the concept was.. I saw a brand new mustang GT at the dealer... and it didn't do anything for me.

however... the corvette, and the pics shadow put up of the new zo6... that definitely did something....

I think the biggest downfall of US automakers is their inability to make up for wheel gap between fender and tire. Look at a BMW then look at a ford. IMO the mustang would look a million times better if the gap was the same as the concept with 22"? wheels. Concept also had a chopped top.
