Question Sunroof issue

When standing at a dead stop, if I try to open the sunroof, I need to push up on the panel before it will operate properly.

If I'm traveling more than 20MPH or so, this isn't necesssary.

Is there an adjustment I can make to correct this? Or is it just old age? (She's a '92)

Jonathan

Giving the nudge to the sunroof to make it open is a very common thing for the SVX. Lots of people have it happen to them. There are some ideas for solutions but it doesnt bother me so i never tried em. I am sure someone will respond with something though.

At speed there is a vacuum effect on the roof that helps open the sunroof.

Keep the tracks clean and free of lubricants that will collect debris. Mine stuck 2nd year after I bought it. Have kept it clean since and not had a problem since.
