The guy is hoping to get it back to me by Friday, and I say hoping because his master rebuilder is taking a week off. I don't know when this week starts for him, but 12 days is a long time to wait.

That bumping sound.
There were some major bumps today while turning, and finally some clicking. It clicks whenever I step on the brake, it bumps whenever I hit the gas.
This is exactly what the FWD XT6 did when the front right CV joint broke, and I'm now positive that I broke this one.

Looks like that's gonna be my next fix.

No bumping, clicking, or anything today.
Weird.

Well, when I pulled into the driveway in reverse, there was a very loud thump coming from the back when I shifted to neutral to set the p brake.

This is like my personal SVX blog.

Running like a champ today.

Took it into FATS and they found nothing out of the ordinary for what I described to them. Here's what they did find/reccomend:

Final drive unit over-filled.

1.0 - Cooling system flush
Timing belt, timing belt covers and bolts. 3.4
Clean and inspect oil leaks. .5
Valve cover gaskets 1.8
Front rotors warped, reccomend pads.
Oil pressure sending unit .6
Windows inop. 1.0 diagnosis.
Lof .5
-----

I will flush the cooling system myself when I install the tranny cooler this sunday.
The timing belt is fine and I have a new cover to put on when I remove the crank pulley to yank the radiator for the T cooler install.
Forget the oil leaks. Everything leaks.
I don't know anything about valve cover gaskets.
New rotors one day. Stronger ones if I can find'em.
Oil sending unit will be replaced by FATS Monday at which point I'll get oil changed, and the window proble diagged.
I don't know what the hell "Lof" means.

Apparently FATS stands for "Foreign Auto and Truck Supply".
I did not know this.

edit:
Eh, I forgot to mention some things.
The guy broke my original key. Good thing i made a spare. Now I need a spare for the spare. 9_9

He also said my plugs "had a red line", and asked if I had been using octane booster .
I said no not since last year. What's up with that? I don't think they know they're iridiums, if that even matters.

Accidentally engaged power mode from a stop to keep a large truck from cutting me off.
Didn't realize it and after I let off and back on again, the thing rocketed up to 5k rpm where as normally it would do 2.5 at that pressure.
Gotta keep an eye on that cluster.

By accidentally I mean it's very sensitive. I pressed the gas about halfway, but quickly, yet not much faster than normal when I want a quick start.

FATS replaced my sending unit AND temporarily fixed my windows/power seat problem.
The relay (or in his words resistor) under the seat was corroded by what appeared to be water, which is not surprising because it rained in there a few times.
They are looking into getting me a new thingy that goes under the seat.

Also, I burned some rubber and noticed a trouble code later on.
D'oh.
