JDM models (and other non-US models?) also come with vented rear disc brakes rather than the US solid rear disc brakes.

Have you tried it??
You get faster response to kickdown, holding onto lower gears longer for safer overtaking, higher line pressures, so less slurring of the brakeband, and the car generally feels like you tapped into another 30 horses or so. On a down note, it hunts gears a bit when you ease off going into bends, but most autos do. I think it's great, but if I'm not in a hurry and listening to the CD, I'll drive with it off. Joe
