Okay, so maybe those aren't the best pics to prove my point, but they're the best I could find. I saw it on C&DTV or something when it debuted, and it looked incredible under the lights. It has something 30 different layers of paint, each a different shade of orange.
OH, I believe you, it was just the way you said it that cracked me up, bringing up the General Lee and all. That's the 2nd time in a week you have cracked me up with some good 80's references I can really appreciate and relate to.

Dude ( ), you have some serious Photochop skillz! Some of those are actually pretty cool, and some of them definitely would attract a lot of attention (maybe too much, but if you were into the Import scene, a paint job like that on a SVX instantly puts it right in there with no other mods necessary).

Now that you have revealed your talent, I'd like to see some more colors along the lines of slate, gunmetal, dark gray/silver, that kind of thing. Maybe get a couple different colors too. Am I too demanding? Seriously, I'm still thinking of doing that on my car and would love to see how a couple different colors look and different angles, etc. That is, if it is easy enough for ya to do.

paint

Jeff gorden,s car and a honda goldwing (2002 or 2003) The paint is about 500.00 plus a quart or was.. Walmart has a paint that changes colors for a very low price but probably a very low grade paint. But it does change colors. If you get a ding or scratch , i dont think you could ever get it touched up to look right.. Just my 2 cents worth.. Probably worth just that, 2 cents. ...Jim

Guess I've just been playing too much Vice City.

If your an 80's buff, then you and me are gonna get along fabulously, cause I'm a total 80's freak. The music (big hair and synthesizers, baby!), the cars, particularly F-bodies (you might be a redneck if...), the movies (Cannonball anyone?), and best of all, the TV (Dukes, Knight Rider, Tranformers, A-Team, Airwolf, and yes, MacGyver, the list just goes on!).

I had seen this picture once before, and I had to hunt it back down again just for you Troy: General Lee 2K

And you're a late '70's baby? What's wrong with you?

I wanted an IROC sooooo bad......

I was born in 1980....but I grew up watching the Dukes, and was infected. Thus my first car: http://members.aol.com/cash68/red1.jpg

I loved that thing.

Oh yes, we ARE going to get along great! Man, all those things you just listed gave me a totally awesome 80's flashback! And all those TV shows, wow, that was some good stuff, now all they can do is cheap reality shows.

All I can say about the General Lee 2K is YeeeeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaw!!!!!

And Michelle, I didn't have an IROC, but I had it's evil cousin an 89 GTA Trans Am. It was black and I took off all the emblems so it kinda looked like K.I.T.T.

Hey now! Those of us that had the 80's as "our era" gotta stick together! It's everyone else that is supposed to think there is something wrong with us for enjoying things from that decade. Ever notice how just about anyone older or younger than us views that era as about the worst decade culturally in recent times.

But it was so much fun!!!
And notice how '80s stuff is starting to make a come-back.
For instance that break-dancing movie that's coming out.
