HydrO2 silica spray sealer
thought i'd share this with you SVX'ers ...
just used this stuff after reading about it on another forum. you wash your car (non-wax, regular car wash shampoo), and while its still wet, you spray down the car with the HydrO2 a section at a time, and then blast it off with a hose. mix it 1:3 HydrO2 to water in a spray bottle. makes the paint like glass, almost a Rain-X for the entire car. i've tried using my cordless blower to dry my car before, but it didn't work as the water just got pushed around. with the HydrO2, the water FLIES off the car. i dried it with the blower in less than 10 minutes. its SOOOO much easier spraying this on the multispoke BBS wheels on the Evo than applying wax and then removing it from all those spokes and crevices. supposedly lasts for 3 months or more, depending on if you park your car outside all the time, etc. since its kinda pricey, i'll do my cars once before winter, then use the rest for wheels during the year. i got it here - a few bucks cheaper thn Autogeek: http://www.detailedimage.com/CarPro-...901/500-ml-S2/ after watching this video, i realized i probably used too much product. it works just like advertised in the video - great stuff!
