RIP Dan Wheldon

For those of you who don't know Dan Wheldon was killed during the Indycar race in Las Vegas. He was my favorite driver and I will miss watching him race.

Re: RIP Dan Wheldon

A sad day in motorsports, indeed. This has got to be the worst crash I've ever seen. R.I.P. Dan. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family today.

The last time I heard Racing Rocks, the announcer was talking about how few wrecks there are,
Radar, how do you like the SS brake lines?

Re: RIP Dan Wheldon

I felt the same way with NASCAR when Davey Allison died. I have never really had a favorite driver since then. Dan was a cool guy when I met him, just a terrible set of circumstances. Indy car racing is going to be hurting next year. They are losing Danica, and lost one of their better race car drivers IMHO.
