Respray Question

My SVX is at the body shop now, I was going to touch up a few places, replace the fenders and the hood, etc...well, I went to look at it today I can just cant see touching it up so I am going to respray the entire car.

Would love some help with the following questions:
1) What is the OE paint code for a 92 Pearl?
2) Has anyone used House of Kolor Snowhite Pearl on theirs? If so did you like the result? How close is it to a stock color?
3) Anyone use a black pearl over the black paint on the roof, hatch, etc?

Any help is appreciated.

The OEM Pearl is a 3 coat system and maybe the most expensive SVX paint. I believe the Pearl paint code is 267.

Now sure you would really want the black pearl on the roof/hatch with its burgundy/red undertone. A nice high gloss black would look better. Of course, I personally think an all pearl car looks nice, but suspect I am in an minority on that.

I was going to respray the "black" parts with a black base, then spray a black pearl over it. Yes, the OE Pearl is stupid expensive, the paint supplies at retail are something like $850 which is WAY too high, thus my question about the HOK Pearl.

I was going to just do touch up but I think the result after blending would have looked good at 20 foot and like ass up close. I hate putting this much money in it but, hey, what good is a project car if you cant pour money into it

Most if not all metallic white are tritone which are very expensive. On the black roof/trunk part I like a metallic finish. When I painted mine a used a tricoat black glass flake Black for them.
