New bumper idea
I was wondering if it is possible to build a bumper for the SVX similar to a Maserati or Ferrari. This would be a longer front bumper. It would extend out further from the metal bumper under the plastic one. This would be lower and thinner where the bumper would be. It would also have a good size opening for air intake.
Why does the bumper have to stay with the confines used to yet the SVX on a ship to the USA? Whay can’t the bumper, the part that hits the parked car in front of you be lower? This would look very nice and blend in well with the headlights and center grill. It may also increase the top end on the SVX with a lower drag coefficient. So what about the back? What can be done for the rear plastic bumper? Is there any way to extend that and those sticky chrome muffler tips? Well anyway I was just thinking about this and wondering if it’s a possibility. It would really change the look of the SVX to extend out both ends about 2’ each or so. Take care of that SVX, John

I think I see where your going with the ideas....the headlights would be a design concern on a longer, lower nose, imho. As it is, the front overhang on the svx is alot...stretching the nose more could make for an akward looking wheel placment as seen from the side...but Im gonna play in ms paint with this for a while before I actually shoot it down...because done right, it could look cool
