Where to get Valve cover gaskets...

Hello all,

I need to replace my valve cover gaskets and the gaskets for the bolts... Those suckers are expensive from subaruparts.com... Like $6 each and there are 10 of them I think... Is there a more cost effective place to buy them, or am I stuck? Thanks.

Clarke

You might try a parts store, but there are not a whole lot of aftermarket parts available that are specific to the SVX. Might have to just take it in the wallet and get the parts from the dealer. I feel your pain, my 92 needs valve cover gaskets, and for both gaskets, all 16 grommets, and the 6 spark plug tube gaskets, as well as 6 spark plugs is $160 and that's with my discount since I work there!
