Wilson Enterprises ( subi-crosser) will kick in $100. ( Sponsor),this weekend and 'purchase' (1) ticket@ $25. or 12 @ $2.00. I think a plaque with the sponsors names should be displayed with the car and the public should be offered the tickets too. If we can sell 2,000 tickets at $2.00 anyone would buy 5! If the car is ready for display by Labor day, we could sell hundreds at the Street Rod Round Up in Cumberland.
Tom put the SVX on the map with the local 'ricers' at the 4th of July weekend run this year! They ALL asked "What IS it?" Then said, " I WANT one!"

The Street Rod club that I have been a member of for over 20 years, (Western Md Street Rod Association) raffles off cars. We sold chances on a 36 Pontiac coupe rod @ $1.00 and made THOUSANDS! Then we did a 48 Chevy Sedan Delivery, stock, with fresh red paint and shiney wheels. This year, we have a 48 Ford 'Rat Rod' and the numbers are in the POSITIVE for the last few months.

We take it to 'cruise nites', shows, pic-nics and where ever car guys congrigate. (There are only 54 members).
If all SVX Net guys that live in the mid-Atlantic region sold some tickets, there could be a 'windfall' that would make the next Reading Meet the best ever.

We can talk about it more this weekend. See you then.

Just a thought.......
