Cold . . . in Texas, give us a break! What's wrong did it get below 60 degrees?

Actually, I know it can get cold in Texas. I was in Corpus Christi in the winter of '67(?) when we got a few inches of snow.

Im not neccesarily saying that this is it, but when my alternator died, alot (but not all) of the warning lights came on, but nothign was wrong with the systems themselves. I had the airbag light, the ABS light, the E-brake light, and the chekc engine light all on at once. Its just somehting to look into.

It's the alternator. Get it checked and replaced asap as your battery is being drained.

I had this happen to mine and i thought the alternator was going bad. Turns out, the - Terminal on my battery was just a little loose. It may sound like a stretch, but check that out.

Loose connections to the battery or the alternator can cause this. If all 4 connections are secure then the alternator is dying. Of course it could also be a belt slipping.

It's always a good idea to keep a voltmeter plugged into the lighter to monitor your electrical system.
