now its my exhaust!?!

well, i just dropped $3000 to have my tranny rebuilt, which is working fine, but since the day I got it back, it has been running LOUD. I know they replaced the exhaust donut, is it possible this is in wrong and is an easy fix? before going in for service, engine purred like a kitten..... HELP!!!

There are several exhaust gaskets that could be the culprit. Where the headers attach to the front pipes there are two metal gaskets (44022AA200). Where the front tubes connect to the catalytic converter there are two fiber gaskets (44022PA021). Where the catalytic converter connects to the center pipe there is one gasket (44022PA031). Where the center pipe connects to the muffler there is one gasket (44022PA000).

If it is cold where you are, you should be able to look underneath the car when you first start it and see where the exhaust is blowing out.

Any chance you've got the parts # for the hardware (screws, springs, etc) needed for those connections as well?

I got new springs, washers and shoulder bolts from my local parts store.
