Hey, my door locks won't engage or disengage on the driver's side, any ideas on how to fix em or should I just order a new solinoid?

it's probably the motor assembly. Unfortunately, it can't be bought by itself and you have to buy the whole assembly. less than $130 tho, so not TOO bad.

So the plug right by the actuator is getting the proper voltages? Another test is to send power directly to the actuator. That's what I did to determine the short in my door locks.

Open up the solenoid and check for water inside. If there is some then empty it out and spray the contacts with WD40.

I've had this a few times where it causes the solenoid to stop in a halfway position and then you can't lock or unlock the doors.

Phil.
