Quick question regarding bearing noise - speedy response appreciated

If the noise pulsates during left turns, and evens out during right turns, which side is bad? (noise is coming from rear)

Thanks in advance.

I would suspect the rhs from what you say.

However, I would still want to listen into the boot[trunk] just to be sure.

Can you fold down the rear seat, and have a teenager lean into the trunk while you drive, see which side the noise comes from?

Joe

Thanks for the response Joe. The right hand side was my suspicion also, but sometimes it's hard to tell.

I rode back from work one night with the seat down, but the noise resonates throughout the interior making the distinction somewhat difficult. However, I'm now convinced it's the right, so I know which place to take it back to.
