Bent rims - three out of four?
I can't believe it; 3 out of 4 rims are bent on the inside . How is that possible? I'm not exactly what you call an "agressive" driver neither is my wife. I am not sure what the best avenue is from hence forth; repair the rims or simply go buy a set from a tire store, like Discount tires. They showed me some snazzy looking 16" for a decent price . I'd like to hear some thoughts on this matter. Can the OEM wheels be repaired reliably? What offset am I looking for? I really do like the OEM wheels. Is there a good source to purchas a set of OEM wheels?

You can try looking on ebay for some SVX wheels. I have seen the OEM wheels on ebay before for pretty good price. I have custom rims and one of them got bent too. Doesnt really take aggressive drving...its the damn potholes!

After buying my first SVX, I replaced the tires and found the same thing. 3 out of 4 were bent. I did have them fixed, but it cost me around $100 per wheel. I would guess that you could get wheels (OEM) for less than that. Many members list them here in the For Sale Forum. If you need them fast, that may be a problem. Good luck.

I did a search on how the SVX looks with various aftermarket rims. I found only a few. If any of you guys have some links for some pics of SVXs with aftermarket wheels, that will help me be more decisive on which type of wheels to pick for my ride.
I love the oem wheels and would love to pick up a set. The question is that I'm a little hesitant on purchasing an used set w/o seeing them first. This isn't exactly easy to do w/o a balancing machiine if they're already off the vehicle. Anyway, let me see some wheel pics! Thanks. Ali

Wheels
Hi Ali, www.transwheel.com I have several sets of oem wheels from these guys. The wheels look like new when you get them. You pay up front and get a core refund when you send your old wheels back. The wheels you send back must be serviceable to get the refund. Take care, BOBB
