Another drive shaft question

Are driveshafts from the car we use for 5 spd donors(Legacy, Impreza, Forester) a direct replacement for the SVX? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the rear section of the Legacy is the same as the SVX, but the front section of the SVX is longer.

Looking at mine tonight, the rear sections are the same (mounting flange to carrier bearing). The front portion of the SVX shaft is shorter than the Legacy shaft I have. It probably depends on the model/transmission combination that the other shaft came from.
