I seem to have seen one, but can't remember where...sorry.
You took out the two screws under the felt in the armrest? The two screws along the front edge of the door panel? Then popped out the plastic part under the door handle and took out that screw right? After those five the door panel will just pry off...carful not to yank too far away as there's wires & two connectors - for the power switches and for the light under the armrest. |

I have it on my site I think. If not, I'll redo one if you can wait another day. I have to remove the whole interior anyways so..

I can help as I have done this many times.
-There are two screws under the felt in the arm-rest pocket. -There are one or two fear the front of the door where it presses against the dash when closed. These may heave covers over them. -There is one screw under the lever to poen the door. is is under a plastic cover that can be removed with a slotted screw driver. that is all the screws. Once remove, the panel has many snaps that will just pull out, then lift the panel up and out. should not be a major problem.

i have a tool for helping with the 'snaps', but i didn't need it - they popped out with no problems. i've had other cars where door panel removal required replacing most of the snaps after you broke them , but the SVX door panel was amazingly easy.

Thank you all!!
That was really for a friend of mine that was having problems. He is b*tching about the $100+ for the new window switch..... I guess the thing that doesn't come through in any of the how to's is that you must "force" the snaps.... I'm always afraid that I'm going to bust something else...!

I've had the white things on the door panel that the snaps mount to pop off. Some epoxy and they're secure again. The previous owner had lost a few of the snaps and replaced them with some obviously incorrect ones. Eventually I'll put the proper ones back.
I also have 6 screws holding the panel on.

I usually muck things up when putting them back together. Any tricks to re-assemble so that the switches don't buzz or rattle? Any tricks required to line up the snaps before giving the panel a whack to seat it?

The door lock module can be annoying to line up properly when sliding the panel down. Then again, you may get lucky.
Ron (need to get lucky too).
