slight PING!
Is it ok that I'm experiencing a slight ping in my svx when accelerating (moderately) off the line? It is not very frequent, nor is it very severe. So, should I be concerned? It's not producing a code (which I'm told the knock sensor will do).
ANY THOUGHTS will be appreciated!

use 91 octane or higher.

That was my first thought. Are you using 91 or higher octane fuel? If not, I would change now.

PING
I use 91 always + now I'm using about one ounce of fuel treatment per tank of gas. I don't know if that increases or decreases octane? (I haven't had intermittent rough idle problem for about 2 weeks now, since I dumped fuel treatment in a tank + now add the 1 OZ. per tank!)

Plus, I just passed my smog check with flying colors.
Does the ping mean anything, guys or are there too many possibilites to name? THANKS! P.S. I did just change my oil (Redline 10/30)!!
