Re: Hydra Nemesis

Forget about TCU man... you have a manual transmission...

With a manual... TCU = You...

Yes, you do have it sitting there hooked up for no reason...

Re: Hydra Nemesis

lol... my bad.. I just plugged **** back in, I feel like a gomer hahaha!

That makes sense I guess I figured the NSS and cruise control wires were a part of the tcu harness. I guess I should have followed the wires. I'll get that extra crap out. hahaha Thanks!

Re: Hydra Nemesis

better

Hey, did you get the measurements on the lateral links? I was at Annapolis Subaru on Saturday picking up some parts and they had two of the Whiteline kits sitting there, so I was able to pull some dimensions off of them

Hey, where can I get a cable to connect the wire that came witht the hydra t my laptop? The plug that came with it does not mate with anything on any of my three laptops....

Re: Hydra Nemesis

I picked up a PCMCIA expansion card from StarTech.

As far as I remember, using any sort of USB to Serial converters will not work well with the Hydra due to the USB converters not being fully addressable...

Here is what I got: http://www.startech.com/item/CB2s950...ter-16950.aspx

Picked it up off E-bay for $40ish...

It takes a little to get everything working... I had a hard time with the Nemesis software but after a few hours got it all figured out... so now it connects on demand without problems.

Re: Hydra Nemesis

not bad looking does it slide in where you would slide a network card??? where does it go into the laptop??? I wonder if that'd be compatible with my laptop. I might do that and run the tuning program on my laptop when I get my hydra.

Re: Hydra Nemesis

Bump, got my car out of Hibernation this weekend. Will be tinkering with it a little before reading. Hopefully in a few weeks I will be able to get time on the dyno to get it dialed up

Where can I get one of the interface cables for the hydra? Did you post a link for this before?
