codes...WOW!!! ATF temp sensor?

ok so my car acted up on me today... it kept stalling out, first it started stalling when it was shifting into 2ed than when i would stop, than it stalled when i was crusing about 60 down the road, i think it is because like i said before with my TC not locking out. does anyone know how to do an ATF temp sensor? i know you have to drop the tranny pan and t is on the valve body but where?
and i ran codes today and i got alot of them!!
i got 23,32,31,11,37,33,34... i dont think this can be good...

Re: codes...WOW!!! ATF temp sensor?

I would check your wiring, that seems like alot of malfunctions to just pop up.

Re: codes...WOW!!! ATF temp sensor?

You should probably check the harness at the ECU and make sure its on there.... check your grounds at the battery and engine bay too. Unplug your battery for at least an hour to clear any and all codes, then drive and recheck codes. For that many codes to come up, it seems like a junction electrical issue or bad ECU.

Re: codes...WOW!!! ATF temp sensor?

I would say almost definitely some loose wiring looms. Disconnect and reconnect all of them

Re: codes...WOW!!! ATF temp sensor?

Thier probably old stored codes, just reset the ECU and check for codes again.

Re: codes...WOW!!! ATF temp sensor?

changed my ATF temp sensor today and all while i was doing that i had the battery unhooked, put it back together and now i am only get code 33....
the temp sensor still didnt help with the TC locking out. i dont know what to do or where to start? anyone have any ideas on it?

this thing has been nickle and dimeing me eversince i got it, i mean i expected it being that it is 17 years old but i guess i didnt know what i was getting into and how HARD PARTS ARE TO FIND!!! my parents want me to get rid of it but i love it to death and i dont want to. i have too much blood sweat and tears into it.
im getting a 1989 mazda mx6 next week for $200 so i can let the SVX sit for a while so i can get some money to get her fixed, if i can figure out whats wrong with it...???

By "locking out" do you mean locking-up, or engaging properly? Do you some sort of auxiliary ATF cooler installed? The torque converter won't lock properly if the fluid never reaches operating temperature.
