We're biking in the south west of Ireland in a month's time. I'm saving the shillings for that.

Bike trip coming up for me too, my brother and nephew are joining me on a round trip of Scotland at the end of June, cannae wait

Ease the stress? I've just DHL'd our tyre warmers, wets, slicks, to strategic points on the itinerary ready for this trip. GPS electronic suspension mapping is all we've left to do. My personal trainer reckons I will peak around the 14th. Arai have kindly modded my helmet to allow quad inhalers, and I've had a current tax disc tattoo on my left shoulder. With this level of prep., how can he not be stressed?

Are those Aprilias reliable enough to get the whole way round Scotland, yeah? It rains in Scotland at times, and Italians have no idea what rain can do to electrics.

Hey Steve, by the time you've piqued on 14th we'll probably be back home nursing a hangover.

Quad inhalers? That's a new mod. My Shark is a flip front. I have it set up so I get a puff when the lid shuts. Of course, the more I flip my lid, the sooner I run out of puff. Swings and roundabouts.

Looking forward to checking the modifications on your Arai.

It's not the trip that'll cause the stress John, it's the trippers.

Actually I kind of fancy a smaller lighter bike for a change and I was looking hard at the Aprilia Falco. Probably same engine as yours, but not a full battle dress tourer. For the minute I'm not in a position to change, but you know, the pleasure of window shopping. .

We should have already booked a club stand, but I have been busy with some personal pressures at this end, and I overlooked the paperwork detail. Apologies on that.

Please respond this week so we can suggest/confirm the numbers of car spaces we require.

Going back over those expressing interest to attend the following is a "possible" attendance list, pending confirmation from everybody:

Phil & Belha, 1 x SVX, confirmed.

Joe With Steve K, 1x SVX, assuming Steve can confirm.

John Blueji, 1 x SVX, assuming John confirms.

DJW, 1 x SVX, assuming the journey is do-able.

Tony [AJAS], 1x Legacy GT Spec B, be nice to see Tony & the lads again if possible.

Geachy, 1 or more SVX? Unconfirmed. They are attending JAE previous weekend. Be good if even one could travel to join the Cosford group. Cosford is near a lot of Wales and may not be too far for them.

Graham [f1SVX], 1 x Aston Martin Vantage Supercharged. That's a bit more GT than our SVXes can muster, but an interesting change.

Arthur - UK, 1 x SVX, Arthur has not so far committed to attending, but his Polo Green car always catches the eye. If he convoyed up with DJW it would make a really good group of display cars. Arthur is a nay, going to Goodwood.

That's it so far but if most of this list turns up it will be a great stand.

The one day format will mean a bit of driving for many which could be mitigated by a Sat night stop over in a B&B or hotel close to Cosford. It's possible this one-day format may be less expensive on people in terms of time and money outlay in these difficult times and I hope all above can turn up to prove me right.

Thats a pity Arthur, I popped by to see Gez in Hayling the other day but he has had to get a job so have not been able to contact him. I plan to call him this weekend to see if he would be interested in coming to this.
We still must try to meet up some time, I was going to sell the SVX a while back as I bought a new van but have worked out a way to keep it now.
Just checked the route planner and its about a 3 hour drive from where I live so I'll be interested in the meet

I drive past Gez's house most days, the SVX was on the drive a couple of weeks ago.
Happy to meet at The Ship on Langsone bridge one day one day if you want.

Did you see the 97 sillver svx that sold on ebay for £1200 ! If I had room to store it I would have bought it !
