Ok, as far as changing the constants in the TCU for the different diff ratios, wouldn't a simpler way be to change the tcu along with the gearbox. I've been wondering why the tcu isn't normally changed anyway.
Also, I'm curious: why would Subaru use all the different layouts for the speed sensors in the different markets. Doesn't seem cost-effective for them to have done that. So why did they? |
