Speedometer correction after 4.44 swap

Hello - maybe this is the better place for this thread, and it will get any attention.

I have a MY96 Euro-spec SVX with VTD tranny.
I swapped my Euro 3.74 VTD tranny for JDM 4.44 VTD (from Legacy GTB).

I yet have to wire one of the speed sensors (Euro tranny has one internal, and JDM ones are both external), but according to this post it's doable: http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/show...3&postcount=72
I don't know from where should I take 10V, though).

My problem is of other kind - my speedometer is about 30% off after the swap. Is there any way (eg. TCU modification) to correct that?

Re: Speedometer correction after 4.44 swap

I believe the cluster gets the signal first then sends it to the tcu. Not sure of solution but most subarus go to cluster first.

No, in EU-spec the TCU takes the signal first, then sends it to the cluster... That's what I found on wiring diagram and what my practice proves... :/
