Honestly, the car would look ten times better without those add-on items. The guy would also make more money, if he sold the car w/o them and then put the wing, neon lights and yellow hoses (don't forget the racing seats) up for sale on Ebay.

The tan interior i think is meant for luxury. Theres alot more you can do with grey interior. I think those seats would look 10 times better in an SVX with grey interior.

Wait, so you think the tan interior is 'meant for luxury?' Does that mean the charcoal interior was 'meant for' something else?

That's a good one.

I like his claim that the car 'rides better as a two-seater.'

He's right on that one. I get cramps in my leg from moving the seat forward when people get in the back. The back seat is just not meant for adults or very large people who just weigh it down and make it slower anyway.
I usually just fold the back down and keep a bunch of crap back there.

Agreed.

At least this solves the question of whether or not an aftermarket steering wheel fits...

Tan leather with wood grain says luxury to me. Charcoal interior with gray trim doesnt exactly say luxury. Thats just my personal opinion.

I really wish the SVX was a two seater. The back seat has no use for me. The only part of the back seat thats used is behind the passenger seat. I like to have the seat way back when i drive so no one would be able to sit behind me. SVX would be an awesome two seater car.

Than make it a two seater... and do something cool back there.

I think other than the seats and wing, the car does seem pretty clean... however i dont' get the white spoiler, black seats, tan interior, yellow wires, and green neons... oh.. and the yellow car freshener... toooooo many different colors.

Hey I noticed your sis has a '93 GSX... I had a '94 GSX, which my SVX replaced after I flipped it over a snowy pass last year.

I miss that thing. At 16 psi, my best time was 13.62 @ 101... That was a fun run!

They're awesome cars. I had a '90 Talon TSi AWD before it, but I sold that one a couple years back.

I love DSMs

I'm with you. I just normally hold it in cause I know most people have the grey interior and I don't want to rub in that my car is better than theirs cause it's got the beige interior with the split seats and bronze glass, doesn't have electric seat belt annoyances, and does have a lot more hp

Just kidding guys. There are plenty of people that perfer the grey interiors. That's why they made a variety of colors beige with bronze glass for you and me and grey for all these other suckers

How about a 3 seater ala Maclaren....... driver in the middle, 2 passengers to the right and left and behind.

I'm currently fixing a Stealth. I think I'll be selling it mot long after I get it back on the road. What I'm really interested in is a Conquext. I want a '89 with the the special package on it. The package I'm talking about had the fender flars, 9" front rims, 10" rear rims, and a 4 way adjustable suspension system. It would be an awsome car to run in the SCCA.

Ok, I know the Conquest isnt considered a DSM by most, but it does have a Mitsu. cousin (Starion). The only thing that makes it "not" a DSM is the fact that it wasnt made in the same plant as the Eclipes/Eagle/Laser, Stealth/3000GT, and the Galant.

Heh, yeah, actually i need to update that.. She just bought an 01' Audi A4 Quattro, and I might be buying/getting the eclipse to play with... pretty fun car, however it needs a little TLC from my sister's abuse. I've got a friend that knows a fair amount about DSM's and might try to get it up around 250 hp to the wheels. that is.. If i have money to spend
