Oh man, it's so painful to see. Good luck with recouping some of the cash on this one. Hope your wish for a pearlie comes true sooner than later.

Why did you do that???

Man, I really wish people would quit parting out all these running SVXs.... it takes another one off the road forever.

Conventional wisdom dictates that when the cost of needed repairs exceeds the "book" value of the car, toss the car. I say, what matters is what the car's worth to you.

Often overlooked is a known-commodity value that's hard to ascribe, but it increases if you've owned the car for a good length of time and/or are familiar with its history.

Nice. It reminds me of the SVXrex that svxhunter raced earlier this year!

Hey, PM me if you're in the market for a well-maintained '92 Pearlie. I know of one in MD that the owner is considering selling...

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

that couldn't have hurt more if i maced myself in the face and stuck my junk in a meat grinder while standing chest deep in salt listening to kenny g and kathy lee gifford perform wind beneath my wings with bamboo shoots being shoved up my fingernails while ben stien lectures about anchent history with a car batery clamped to my nips and my head in a vice with chineese water torture.

but atleast it makes my car rarer

I'm curious to see the frame rail that was missing. I've never heard of this before.
