Select Monitor (ssm1/OBD1) USB Cable

I was going to purchase the ssm1/obd1 usb cable to run diag from my laptop from the link provided in the how-to documents. It has been available for the past few weeks. Now when you hit the jump for the link it says access denied and the usb cable is as if they never had it. Does anyone know what happened? Also any reviews on it would be appreciated.

I think I'm going to go ahead and get one unless someone could possibly give me a viable reason not to!?

Re: Select Monitor (ssm1/OBD1) USB Cable

Could someone please give me a product review on these USB cables. I want to at least be able to read thrown codes accurately.

I've got one. All depends on what software you're using. I'm working with Evoscan on some questions ATM.

Re: Select Monitor (ssm1/OBD1) USB Cable

Been out of the game for a little while but when I was working with Evoscan, it was not possible to use it for basic code diagnostics... It gives you a read-out of data parameters and allows you to datalog and dump the ECM's memory. I do not see most people having a great use for this

Yes. It is the same.

Evoscan works perfectly with the cable from alcyone.org.uk, You can also download the Evoscan definitions file for SVX from there.
