I personally saw this happen no less than 3 times while managing the north tahoe shop. Our first idiot tech forgot to tighten one wheel on an older toyota 4x4..... we bought him a new front brake system for that wheel. Second dummy tech forgot ALL 4 WHEELS on a mercedes SUV. Luckily that one noticed wobbling before they got out of the lot.... embarrasment plus some bad word of mouth. First idiot tech does it again 3 weeks later on a suburban..... guy loses wheel at 45mph, goes into a ditch, and sues our owner for about 15K. I personally couldnt believe it, but I guess forgetting VITAL details is human nature

I'm not trying to WTLY, since it seems that many haven't seen it before and it is always funny to watch...

I remember the story from last year when this video made the rounds on the autocross forums. All four wheels were torqued properly that morning, the mishap was caused by lugnuts with the wrong thread...
