Hood Scoop

Just getting some opinions on a small hood scoop for the SVX. Its carbon fiber, small ,and very N1-esque. What do you guys think?

I think that style of a scoop looks more appropriate for our cars more than the STI style scoop. I wouldn't mind that on my car.

It looks good but doesn't function. Why lose aerodynamics just for looks? I'm big on performance over looks. I was going ot buy the Fiberglass hood with the small scoop but, Decided against messing with our already low drag coeffiecent. Just my .02.

it functions to feed my new intake with cold air, the small opening would vary the aero too much, and the aero change would be miniscule compared to the increased power, right?

If it will dump water/debris into the engine bay... not a good thing.

I think the hood with the small Legacy GT style scoop looks best for the SVX... and is also appropriate due to it having that Subaru look to it (yet not overly showy).

scoop

I started a thread on this long ago and the offset scoops similar to a 931 Porsche looked pretty good and would prevent the debris/water issue. Kick it a little more to the passenger side and it would be right on top of the airbox.
