PA loses another SVX

To all my PA/MD brothers and sister, I bid you good bye. There is one less SVX in the fine reagion of the mid Atlantic. I have made my venture west to the great siberian tundra of the US known as Minneapolis, Minasota . It took over 20 hours drive but I have made it. My baby ride on a Penske car carrier for the trip. Which was behind a 25ft box Penske truck for a total of 54 ft. WIDE TURNS .
So to all my new MN brother and sister I say hello and whatz up all!. I have enjoyed the drive and am getting setteled in in the wounderful city of Champlin. Nice flat open roads with plenty of room to get tickets. I will need some help in finding some winding roads. I have had great weather for unpacking, but had to bring it myself. I understand that this area has had a little rain.
I am looking forward to a fun filled few years in the upper plain states and lots of SNOW!!!!!.

Steve

they arn't in maryland at all you cant even have them on in a parking lot. i imagine other states have simaler laws.stay away from blue or red neons that can land you heafty fines and court. your best bet is to call the local state police barraks their usualy happy to answer your questions.

The Great Upper Mid-West

Welcome, and yes, when you get the low-down on some twisty roads please share. I am over here in Madison, SD, some 65 miles northwest of Sioux Falls. Where that is in relation to you is beyond me, I'll have to check a map.
I grew up in Northern Virginia so the change to EWNS* roads of this area was a hoot. Why anyone would ever need a compass in this part of the country is beyond me.
Anyway, good luck.

*East, West, North, South.....the only directions roads go out here.

Maryland is weird. Exact law states that only white and amber lights are to be visibal from the front and front half of the side. Red light visibal from the rear and latter half of the side. I.E. if you run amber neons on the front and side and red in the rear you are legal.

How do I know this. Well lets just say that if you have a problem with a MD inspection or other car related issue in the northern Baltimore County, you would see my dad. We had this discusion when he help me put on my green neons on. He said that it would be pushing it a lot to do it though and cops would haras you about it. You would spend more time in court than it would be worth.

It is up to you to push the law but if you could carry around a copy of the law it might help. I had to carry around a copy of MD law when I had a blue light on my car for firefighting.

I have not been able to get lost yet. I hate that. ave run east/west, streets run north/south. It is easy to get to top speed but can be a boring ride.

I'm in the north west side of Minneapolis area.
