Top selling != best.
Please note that the majority of the human population has an "average" intelligence level. Does that make an average intelligence level better than a high intelligence level?

Actually, Ford did not make the first car. Henry Ford did use the assembly-line process to build cars for the first time, however.

I'm not sure what car you're talking about here. I don't think Ford has a car that can compete with some of the Japanese makes for best "bang for the buck".

who rides "like a rock"....not Ford
Subjective. I'm not impressed with the ride quality in the Focus, Taurus, Mustang or F150 myself.

That is true. By owning the "fastest stock truck" you make a lot of sacrifices in other areas, though (i.e., vehicle interior, crash safety, etc.)

Dodge...all i can say is look the word up in the dictionary...

ok...well, i am done today, tip your waitress

I hear nothing but bad things about them.
They rot and rust faster than any other iv seen.
There trannys are crap.
There engines are crap.
Ohhh big deal 20years ago they made the 9 inch, they don't use it anymore.
Ford did not make the first car.
Dodge is worse but Fords do suck.

Can't we just admit that Subaru (and specifically the SVX) is better?

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

Kelli, after Jean got through with me....forget a body bag; I'd fit in a McDonald's bag.

PS....If you think THIS crowd is tough on liking OTHER cars, you should check out any "Big Three" model site and drop ANOTHER model's name. I think I know where some of those "cells" the government is looking for...are hiding!!!

It is going to be about 60 degrees today, so I think I will take my

WONDERFUL SUBARU SVX

out for a drive. The one parked next to the SUBARU IMPREZA !!!

I never contested that fact. I simply suggested that the fact that the Explorer is the best selling does not make it the best.

Actually, there are a lot of cars classified as "compact". The Neon SRT and WRX are "compact" cars and are faster than the SVT Focus.

It simply has the reputation of being sparse and low-quality (not really any worse than a normal F150, but then that's not something to be too proud of in the first place )

Well since you ask, according to tests it lies well within the top 1% of our population. I never said anything about your intelligence, by the way. Obviously, you own an SVX so it can't be that bad.

My 2 copper's worth....

<The Neon SRT and WRX are "compact" cars and are faster than the SVT Focus>

Since I actually OWN one, I guess I can make a short statement...

Andrew, you are absolutely correct. A WRX or SRT-4 will blow the doorhandles off the SVT. We are talking over 220hp for both of them, and only 170 for the Focus. I'd say the RSX-S would have it covered nicely also.

well, i think that we are getting our information from two different places i don't feel like looking up mine, and i am not going to ask you to do it either. whose to say that one windbag writer knows more then the other...you can make stats look like anything as long as it is to your advantage, depending on the author, you may be presented with information differently

Kelli

ps, out of pure curiosity, what tests are you talking about that would rank you in the top 1% of the population when it comes to intellegence....i know i rank in the top 1% of my college and i was in the top 2 of my high school grad class...not trying to make arguement at all....just curious
