WOOHOO! I'll be back behind the wheel...

of my SVX tomorrow!

Just got the call today that it's ready to be picked up after a tranny replacement. I'm so freakin' excited to be back in the saddle of my baby again! Must log off now to watch Futurama and go to sleep so I can get up early and get her.

It's amazing at how problems seem to cascade from one to the next...especially when it comes back from a garage.

Negative vibes

Ignore them Johnny!

These are glass half empty people.

Your car will be perfect! Enjoy it

Drive it gently for a day or two, then drive three different colours of crap out of it, just in case something is going to blow.

If it doesn't blow then you can relax, and drive it at your pace.

Joe

God Bless your Irish heart, Joe! I knew I could count on a fellow Irishman to give some encouraging words. Aside from the dealer (a real 4$$h0L3) the car runs great. I tried with all my might to break a tire loose but they just dug right in stuck to the road. Oh what a feeling!! (and it's not even a Toyota ) I'm going back out now to give her some pampering. It's a balmy 45 degrees out and sunny - perfect for washing the car. I'm in so good a mood right now I just might even wash the wife's car

Thanks again for the good words!

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.
