That's nothing. The 'Dumbest Argument Ever' Award still goes to two of my coworkers here.

One claimed that, on his way to work that morning, he had stepped in dog poo.

The other, who was not present during the incident, claimed that he had not.

The only argument I can imagine that would be dumber would be arguing with me that the example above is not actually the Dumbest Argument Ever. And you'd be right. Yours would be far more dumb.

i think i explained it in another thread, but here goes-
it was in a Sat. Night Live skit with "Blue Oyster Cult" in the studio recording Don't Fear the Reaper. Will Ferrell was playing the cowbell. Christopher Walken was the producer and kept interrupting the takes, saying "I gotta have more cowbell!" i guess you have to see it - it was pretty funny!

people like that at work are worth the entertaintment value. a woman tech at work asked me once what the trouble was on a communications circuit i was working on. i said the fuse was in backwards. she said, "Oh, i wonder how that happened?"

I think that's a huge stretch. Following your pattern, I declare all pneumatic tires to be copies of the first, patented by John Boyd Dunlop. All tires are Dunlops.

Your loyalty to Chrysler and your veracity overpower your logic.
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. READ THE ****ING WORDS IM TYPING.
IN THE NHRA... ALL DRAGSTERS USE A CHRYLSER HEMI. It doesn't matter if there's a huge vinyl FORD sticker ont he side, the ENGINE is still a CHRYSLER product. Its because no other engine offers the output like the hemi does. Hemis have ALWAYS dominated drag racing, and still do to this day!

Jeeez. You people are dense.

Actually, I have seen that episode, it is great (hmmm, am I a Spinal Tap fan also?) I had forgotten it, thanks for jarring the rust loose in my brain.

Here you go with your ingorant generalities again. And I quote: "IN THE NHRA . . . ALL DRAGSTERS USE A CHRYSLER HEMI." You obviously ARE NOT reading the ***** words I've written. "ALL" is "All Inclusive." As stated earlier, the SUBARU H-6 engine used by Frank Argona, Junior is used in the NHRA Drags -- thereby totally disproving your general "ALL." Stop generalizing and be more specific.

No, YOU are the one who is dense, and shallow and dense are two things that definitely don't mix.

I take that back, HEMI is still in production, just not in the form that i knew. I didn't realize that they called the newer heads HEMI too. So there i was wrong.

But Chrysler engines in all dragsters?! C'MON MAN!!!! You can't be that out-of-it. First of all, the engines in dragsters, whether they be Ford, Chevy, or Chrysler...use engines that can't even be credited to one manufacturer. They all use such a conglomerate of parts that you can't possibly give them one name. Chevy dragsters are simply chevy for advertising purposes and to showcase high end technology and give the company something to brag about. Same goes for Ford and Chrysler.

John Force drives a Ford because Ford pays John Force to drive a Ford. And the man behind the man, Lee Beard, who built Force's cars, is now working for Chevy. Look out.

Why bother arguing about these engines when the EG33 is way better anyway?

Darn it Shadow248....

I was just gonna jump in there and try to be logical and you had to go and beat me to the post.

OK, I still want my turn. Speed Channel had an Acura drag machine on the other day. Driver said the only factory part was the hood emblem - however he had it on the back by the parachute.

There I feel much better now - I have contributed, but not in any particularly enlightening way.
