Lancer Fail on Ebay

I usually dig this bodystyle Lancer, but this car on ebay is just plain laughable!

But Mike! It clearly has Rocket Mode! haha...
(and how come I seen a Sheriff's car with similar flames down the side of the car.... how can law enforcement be taken seriously when you drive what some would consider a flashy show(y) car with flames down the doors...)

'Cool' cops (lol) let you slide with a warning, not with a flames on the side of their car.

Re: Lancer Fail on Ebay

The ad does state "can remove decals if requested". Without those decals it would look pretty sweet, but such low miles who would put those on drive 3K miles then sell it. I am thinking that dealer must also do decals and put them on to get attention.

Also, that price is insane, is that what they typically go for?

Maybe the new owner spent all his cash on vinyl and the repo men picked it up?

Re: Lancer Fail on Ebay

i hope it only has a 10 gallon tank . Says 110miles til fill up and shows a 3/4 tank of gas left . 10 gal tank would be 150 miles or 15 per gallon.

I guess that breeder buggie has really dropped your standards. Mitsu has never designed a pretty car in its history but to quote a certain TopGear host the Evo "fell off the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down". They really must lack torque at 75mph as I completely stomped one yesterday afternoon that thought passing one car in a huge rush hour line would get him to his destination so much faster. The Evo and its fins= fail vs. a XJR with a 2000lbs trailer from 75-90mph up hill. Makes me wonder why anybody would pay such a hefty price tag for it. Must be the econobox interior and great build quality.... the vinyl actually provides a mask of the "only a blind mother could love" looks of the thing.

The EVO is a nice looking car if you want 4 door rally car. It is a better looking car than the current WRX 4 door. And I disagree, the 1st and second Generation Eclipse, the Conquest and the the 30000 GT were all nice looking cars.

Never said the Impreza was ever a good looker either but to consider the EVO a nice looking car is the same as looking at the Prius as a nice looking bikelane vehicle. No the cars you name didn't hit ever branch of the ugly tree on the way down but they also didn't have the looks of even the average comparable Jap box of the time. Gen 1 Eclipse or Acura Integra gen 1? Integra was a better looking design with a better interior design. Gen 2 Eclipse vs a Celica 3rd gen. Celica wins. Conquest vs a freaking Gen 1or 2 Supra (the Supra takes it). 3000gt vs Lexus LS, Subaru SVX, Mazda RX7, Supra 3rd gen and Nissan 300z. All the others lead the GT on exterior. Interior a freaking Daiwoo Lanos takes the cake against the gt.

You need to spend the day with the SVX rather than the 5. Tell the wife your starting to see dancing bears.
