Happy anniv to my Lovely wife!

When the sun comes up, my 'Blushing Bride' will be celebrating 23 years married to the wrong man!
I hope I can pull this day off without making her MAD!!

Our 'just under 2 month old' grandson got me off the hook!
We picked him up and the day was 'ALL ABOUT him!'
I got to count fingers and toes, then, since this house is no longer set up for babies, I got to HOLD him for an 1 1/2 hour NAP!!
(which I enjoyed the nap too!)
He got to 'meet' his Great Grandma. (he is named after my deceased Dad).
Little guy SAVED the DAY for me!
All my transgressions were forgotten!
This was the FIRST day that Grandma and Pap had 'free reign' with the littlest Grand-baby!

It was a GOOD day!

Re: Happy anniv to my Lovely wife!

I got engaged over the weekend!

Here's hoping that Rachael has found the "right man" in me.

Congratulations, Jerry. 23 years is an inspiration to us all.

You are only going to get 'out' of it what you are willing to put in.
(barring any deep seated emotionational issues)
If she doesn't have any really bad 'emotional baggage', all you have to do is keep her HAPPY!!
If she has a lot of baggage, life will be rough!
I spent $35,000 and all my 'vacation time' driving all over the Country to get 'visitation' rights for her daughter.
The next thing I saw was a child that turned 18 and wanted to SEE her Mom!

On a good day, married life is tough. If you have to deal with the crap that I had to deal with, It might not survive. Most guys would have ran for the hills!

FOR the KIDS!!!!! Pick someone that you can live with till they GRADUATE!!
Do NOT allow your 'Holidays' be dominated by 'who's TURN it is to have the KIDS!!

If you are not ready to spend the next 25 years with that person, do NOT have children!
If you ARE ready, make 20 'well balanced' children! You might be able to reverse the 'trend'.
