It does not run good anymore. Stalls out and the awd is toast. Fwd mode works. I'm moving soon and I can't take her with me. I tried selling it whole but had no takers. So parting it out was the only option left.

The exterior/interior still look great and no damage!

Parting out your car will probably take a much longer time than you thought...

It's such a pity to part out a car like this imo.

It would be sacrilegious to let a car get parted because of a (potentially) bad MAF and solenoid C. Good luck getting it back on the road!

Three of my kids are driving SVXes, the youngest, just starting college, doesn't have anything to drive, yet.

With some TLC, we can get this one back on the road too, we have done it several times before. I can check it out tomorrow

if I get a return email.

I've had Hondas, loved 'em, but Hondas are trouble free. I won't have anything to do

If he doesn't have to crawl under the car, and swap the transmission, diffs, etc., what will he learn?

Towing it home, fixing it to drive it, that creates a bit of appreciation and respect for driving

I agree, I got my SVX in running condition, and at that time my parents needed a vehicle that was better on fuel efficiency. The title was already in their name for insurance reasons, so I just handed the keys over.

If it were not for my SVX, I would probably still be asking my dad how to change the fuel filter
