before and after pics, claybar, decals, back to stock wheels

Here is the link to pictures. The one with the custom wheels was taken yesterday morning.

I then washed, claybarred, waxed, applied side decals, then put on the set of Stock wheels. I have to give the center caps a coat of paint before my car is final. The 2nd and 3rd pictures are yesterday afternoon.

Looks good, but is sort of hard to see the difference with how low resolution your camera is.

Re: before and after pics, claybar, decals, back to stock wheels

lol yeah, our digital camera is a 7.1 megapixel Canon Powershot, and the other day I was using it, and my wife had the resolution set to 3 MP I asked her about it and she was like "Oh it fills the card up too fast on the higher setting." We have a 2GB card, so I looked at it, and it had like, 4 months worth of pictures on it, so I transferred them all to the computer, and then told her that if she transfers the pictures whenever we get home from using it, it won't fill the card up... So now she transfers the pictures more often. Plus I showed her the difference between an 8x10 print of a 7.1MP picture vs a 3.0...

It's still a far cry from my first digital camera, a Canon from the late 90s, max resolution was 640x480 (that's 0.6 MP), and I think the biggest card it would take was a 32MB Compact Flash. It didn't take very good pictures, but it had a really awesome macro function, and it worked great for auction pictures, until some crackhead stole it

Re: before and after pics, claybar, decals, back to stock wheels

Nice job. I like the decals they came up well. I am also partial to the custom wheels.

For anyone that wants to look after their paintwork, claying is the best way to start your preparation. It is amazing how much crap the clay picks up. Just keep it well lubricated.

Nice job.

Cheers

McBrat from the USMB made mine, see the link. cheap too. Best way to keep people from asking what kind of car it is, cause the decal says it all.
