Interesting... However it's too bad they don't specify the spring rate.

Try to use unblock60 dot com

On the left side there is a small pic of a spider (or somethign). Click on it, input the website you want to check and see if it works.

Re: adjustable coilovers on ebay

I'd suggest contacting them first to follow up on the "guaranteed fitment" statement. It would be nice to know that they actually know what an SVX looks like. I'd be concerned that they're just figuring that "a Subaru is a Subaru"....

Re: adjustable coilovers on ebay

Ahh, the infamous ebay coilovers appear! I'm sure these are just a cheap version of the Ground Control coilovers that some of our board members use. Same concept anyway.

Re: adjustable coilovers on ebay

I asked them about their product, and this is the response I got:

"we run several test fits and run test on the for at lease 6 months on every vehicle before we offer them to the public. Each setup is designed specific to each vehicle. Thats why we can guarantee fitment. the spring rate is 550f 525r"

If anyone gets them, please let me know the quality, as I am going to put in Koni struts in a few months, and this would be a nice addition if they are a quality part.

that sounds like a typical engrish reply
i would doubt the validity of their test claim, but im sure others have bought before you
try checking sales history, and pm some other ebay users who have bought

Re: adjustable coilovers on ebay

Yeah, please note that they appear to offer coil overs for every car known to man (using the exact same pic)

Re: adjustable coilovers on ebay

I bought a set to see if they were any good. I will take photos and post them upon receipt and let everyone know how it works out. Figured for $140 with shipping it would be worth a try. Anyone got any Koni shocks I can buy to try with these? PM if you do.

Re: adjustable coilovers on ebay

Is it possible to keep stock ride height with these if they work? I ask the seller and he said 1" drop is the highest, but couldn't you just cut the housings 1" higher?

Re: adjustable coilovers on ebay

I'm still waiting on mine. I'll look into the ride height adjustment when they come in. Anybody got any busted worn out struts I can use for this project? My struts are still in pretty good shape and I would like to keep them as backup. PM me if you have a set of 4 that are worn out but useable for this and how much you want for them.

Subscribing for hearing in on them. If you get them in and start a seperate thread make sure to post a link to it in here so we can all follow it.

Re: adjustable coilovers on ebay

Received the coilovers today. They look nice!. Look like a cheaper copy of the ground control springs. However, the inside diameter of the height adjuster tubes is 51.5mm and the outside diameter of the SVX strut tubes is 54mm, therefore they will not fit. I have emailed the seller to see what they want to do and will let the group know.
